probably more ways to skin the proverbial cat than I know but my modest penneth worth
$ will work if declared as a system variable, otherwise at command prompt type
drive:\path\wintail.exe drive:\path\filename
for filename choose the .rpt file, or .pas or .stt, or run the command multiple times for all three in separate windows, changing the filename each time.
if the path contains spaces, only the path up to the space is read unless one uses the inverted commas:
"drive:\p a t h\wintail.exe" "drive:\p a t h\filename"
eg. is all in one line
"C:\PTC\CREO\M060\Creo 2.0\Common Files\M060\mech\x86e_win64\bin\wintail.exe" "C:\USERS\USER\DESKTOP\PROJECT NAME\ANALYSISNAME\ANALYSISNAME.RPT"
